Chips and Dip!

Learn how to make a salsa de molcajete! This is a really good way to make salsa, and super easy too! I would personally rate this salsa a 6/10, if you would like it to be spicier then add more chile. You can also add epazote for more flavor.


  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • 3 tomatoes
  • Serrano chiles (depending on how spicy you want it)
  • Molcajete
  • Tortilla chips (sorry forget to put them in the picture)IMG_9047


  1. Begin by washing all the ingredients so the can be clean
  2. Toast the 3 tomatoes, garlic and serrano chiles on a panIMG_9072
  3. Remove the ingredients when the turn soggy and really squishy (so it can be easy to mash)IMG_9079IMG_9083
  4. Remove the burnt parts of the tomatoes and chilesIMG_9086IMG_9098
  5. Mash the garlic into the molcajeteIMG_9113

  7. Mash the chiles into the molcajete one at a timeIMG_9119
